The dry ingredients incorporated in our coating system have been specifically designed to penetrate deep into the substrate, and the MicroBarrier locks them in place, so they can’t leach out.
Our dry ingredients love to follow the moisture deeper and deeper into the wood over time, creating a stronger, longer lasting protective system that’s unlike any other.
The MicroBarrier also acts as a long-lasting water barrier; it significantly slows the moisture loss / moisture absorption by the wood substrate, greatly reducing the amount of damaged wood (cupping, twisting, warping, etc., and it also minimizes wood shrinkage after construction).
